Sea Hawks 'plane guard'

A US Navy SH-60F Sea Hawk (foreground) and a HH-60H Sea Hawk acting as 'plane guard' for the aircraft carrier, USS John C. Stennis. When on 'plane guard', helicopters hover close to the carrier, ready to rescue the occupants of any aircraft that may ditch on takeoff or landing.
