A British Royal Marines HT. Mark 2 Gazelle scout helicopter sits on the deck of a US Aircraft Carrier during an exercise. The Gazelle is part of RNAS 747, a squadron within the Commando Helicopter Force (CHF). The CHF provides light air support for Britain's 3 Commando Brigade, Royal Marines. CHF Gazelles flew reconnaissance missions, light transport and casualty evacuation missions during Operation Telic, the British invasion of Southern Iraq, 2003.
