MH-60G Combat Search & Rescue

USAF MH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter from the 58th Rescue Squadron takes part in a combat search and rescue (CSAR) exercise. An A-10 Thunderbolt attack aircraft provides air cover. The MH-60G carries a suite of defensive counter measures and threat detection gear designed to allow it to penetrate into hostile air space in order to retrieve downed air pilots or extract Special Operations forces.
