MH-47G

The Boeing MH-47G is due to replace the MH-47E Chinooks in service with the US Army's 160th Special Operation Aviation Regiment (SOAR). Amongst several upgrades to the helicopter's avionics include secure data link facilities - in the form of Near Real Time Intelligence Data (NRTID) and CAAS digital cockpits with LCD multifunction displays.
