AH-1W Super Cobra/ UH-1N Huey Helicopters

A U.S. Marine Corps AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter (left) and a UH-1N Huey with Marine Light Attack Squadron 773 demonstrate close air support capabilities. Both helicopters can provide close air support as part of their assigned Marine Air Ground Task Force. Hueys are typically armed with 7 inch FFAR rockets and 1 .50 cal machine gun mounted in the cabin doorway while the Cobra packs a heavier punch with a three barrel 20 mm cannon, rocket pods and guided anti-tank missiles.
