Chinook and Apache Helicopters

A CH-47D Chinook and an AH-64A Apache helicopters both from Combined Joint Task Force 76 land on the flight line in Bagram, Afghanistan, 2007. The Chinook is the only US helicopter capable of operating in the high altitudes of much of Afghanistan's mountainous regions.
