AH-64D Saraf

An AH-64D 'Saraf' of the Israeli Air Force (IAF). The IAF Apache fleet comprises around 42, and features both AH-64A 'Peten' and AH-64D 'Saraf' variants.

Israeli Apaches have been on numerous combat missions. Their AGM-114 Hellfire missiles have been used to neutralise terrorist leaders and even shoot down a civilian Cessna aircraft that entered Israeli airspace in 2001.
